Can I Interest You In??

You call my home and
Interrupt my dinner
Ask me to buy one of your products
A tool I don’t need
Or perhaps a policy I don’t want
I reject you endless time
Yet you insist on bullying me to buy
I hang up and you call again
Ignoring my plea for peace
I thought I was on the “Do Not Call” list
Why am I being harassed?
I do not need insurance, drills or a camera
I do not want a time share, painting or a rare coin
I continue to beg you for peace
But your only response is:
“Can I interest you in a stress reliever?”
