The Watcher

I watch as they go around
There lives traversing like a movie
You scream don't turn there
For you know what's at the corner
Yet your unheeded
I see each move each moving in their own dance
Yet somehow all linked together
An intricate puzzle completed in time
Yet somehow I see I don't quite fit
Actions I do
Words I say fall in, to this pattern fit
Yet though for unknown reasons
I want to belong in this strange group
I am the odd one out
So I watch
I see them fighting
Wolves circling the prey
I see them destroying themselves
Like addicts unable to stop
I see them wonder why another does not
Understand all that they want
Yet no words pass
To explain what is felt
Are they supposed to be physic
So the peacemaker I explain it all
The watcher sees
The watcher catches it all
Seems to bring peace for a little while
Yet once again you don't really fit in
You'll don the garb of gypsy
Act sear to them all
For they seem to follow where others lead
Even when peril is sure to fall
So I play my part
Assume a role
I'm the watcher I only play a part
I can be part of their lives even their hearts
Yet somehow I can't comprehend
IQ says smart as can be
Life says but look at me
These people are beyond my comprehension
Though in this place they are part of me
The watcher I adopt them one and all
Try to adopt there actions there speech
Seems I lose so much what can I hope to gain
I have so much pain my heart cries
For I see them oh to well
Yet I what to be as they
For it is the easiest course
The watcher sees the watcher hears
This watchers heart is true
Or woe it would be to you
For many lead to destruction
When they see the simplicity encouraged
Its so easy to follow
Sheep always follow
The mob always gathers a crowd
So in my dim obscure little corner
I chisel and saw
Hacking at the edges of what used to be me
I'm the watcher
My piece of the puzzle doesn't really fit
Strangely I want to be
Belonging amongst it all
Nay as the observer
But part of the scenery following along
