The Wall

The hardest wall I've ever climbed is the one I could not see
Built there by the King of Hearts who loves unconditionally
But all the same in Love's own game it's when the wall keeps blocking
The very path to bring it down but alas! It keeps on mocking
This pain is real and makes me look upon all the crude hard doubt
Of love that comes and builds this wall then puts it's own love out
For love can hold on for a lifetime and never let you go
But when you hide behind a wall then you really ...never know
The beauty of a fuller heart is when it never yearns
It doesn't recognize the pain until it starts to burn
Freedom gives us every breath we take unconsciously
Once the Wall has had it's way...it's more conditionally
Then with the wall it hides away and dies with every beat
Of a rhythm made...one of a kind...for you...in its defeat!
