Fated Flight

The hum of the engine
Darkness of night
Smiles all a jitters
Taking this flight
Oceans are hazed
Ceilings all blurred
Gone are the good friends
Emotions are stirred
Missing in saline
Tears for the dead
Seas that blanket
Our fears and the dreads
Taken away from life...
In the night
Waiting for closures
And pains that will bite
To the bone for the loss
Of family and friends
Forever now waiting
For lost hearts to mend
We will miss you for smiles
Your wit and your ways
But mostly just you
Go in peace... JFK.
