A Star for Moondancing

Should I awaken from my slumber,
To find my dream is torn asunder...
Then I have dreamed the greatest passion.
That sets my mind a flow ...in fashions,
To sate desires of someone who...
Is molded from this clay, and you...
Have come to me from afar.
And blinded me with your star.
This nova of my hearts desire,
Has taken up this lust for fire.
You reached within this soul so deep...
Unleashed desires I thought to keep.
Within... for safety was the bain,
For which I kept my love in chains.
The gentle tug of rhythms deep...
Have sought the reasons that I keep,
Inside... for you are just the chance...
To keep intact this here Moondance.
I need to take..forsake the others...
For pals are friends and hearts are lovers.
And which are you, my sweet man?
The pal of spirit or heart in hand,
Or the form to mold ,for life, as friends,
To ever trust ...until the end?
The answer is for you to ponder...
As I gaze to muse... but wonder.
Is this sky of midnight blue...
Laced with diamonds sent from you?
I look upon your star tonight...
For friends I have but love, I might,
Just hold so dear in valleys deep...
Secure, to check the fears that keep,
My heart so hollow that needs the chance
To hold so dear your sweet moondance.
I'll gaze upon this sky so grand...
Your star and me...hand in hand.
