My Dream

I had a dream last night
I was asleep in your arms
I could feel the warmth of your body
I could feel the beating of your heart

I could feel your every breath
As you lie there fast asleep
But it was only just a dream
In a moment I can't keep

I had a dream you were here with me
I didn't want the dream to end
I didn't want to face reality
I didn't want to hurt again
