Muse-less

This one poet wrote a limerick
With without his muse, was no fun of it
The lines fiddled and the spacing faddled
Abandoning verbs and pronouns, desperately paddled
No humor detected, its reading audience rejected

Yet all 'Butt One' self assuring critic, of;
this boring page, 'twas eye, who now, deflected...
