Real Thoughts?

What exactly are thoughts?
Complex patterns of rhythmic meters
Or chaotic mutters of the mind
Trying to rid itself of nothingness?
Are thoughts real?
They are not tangible
They are not taken cognizance of by physical vision.
How can we be sure they are not an illusion?
To be sure?
What exactly is being sure?
Is it a "thought" of security?
Security in ourselves, our being.
Are we really
Just because we think?
Are we not
Just because we do not think?
Are you really "thinking" at this moment?
Am I really "thinking" at this moment?
Thoughts, Thoughts, Thoughts.
