Forgotten

Some may see a book as a dull and lifeless thing of ancient time,
worth depleted
Encase by generations.
But in those days of
old carried the ideas that made today.
Within those dusty pages are worlds of imagination.

From prologue to epilogue, mountain, to sea, and valley are the enriching words of literature that shaped our future and preserved our past.

The seas of knowledge are carried on pages
yellowed and musty to smell that tickle our
noses and crackle in our ears
of thoughts hoping to last a lifetime from
the infancy of their wisdom, are slowly forgotten
and packed away with those too belonging to the past, leaving mystery and curiosity about the questions left unanswered in the endless sands of time.
