Lady In Black

Lady in black
I beg you to come back.
I have beheld your mourning
and my heart was full of longing.
I do not like to see you sad.
Until today, I never had.
Come back and smile again.
To loose love is not a sin.

He rests in a better place.
Life is what you must embrace.
Let me hold your hand and heart.
Bright and cheerful soon will start.

This is proper for today
But the gloom must go away
And a joy will soon be found
Growing from our love, profound.

Come back into my life.
I will seek you for a wife.
If we two our love entwine,
I am yours and you are mine.
