This Thing That Rhymes

I never thought, I'd need the time
To sit and write, this thing that rhymes

But then I saw her, on the beach
And in my heart, I learned to reach

To places that, I'd never know
Where one can't go, when one's alone

She showed the way, to deep inside
To release those feelings, I thought had died

She showed me Love, I'd never felt
In-cased in ice, she made it melt

So now I find, I want the time
To sit and write, this thing that rhymes.
