The Women in my Life

The women in my life,
What can I say?
I thought that one of you
Would be here today

I've looked around,
Searched to no end.
As it ended up,
You're all my friends.

I wanted it to be more
Someone I could keep
All to myself
All I do is weep.

I sat here and wondered
Where I went wrong.
I guess your love for me
Wasn't that strong.

I sit here now
And think to no end.
It's their loss
But always a friend.
