Sobs

They said she was dead,
and a piece of me died with her.
The pain inside of me will never fade,
and none of us will ever be the same.
Sometimes alone at night we will cry.
We'll hear echo's of silence in the distance,
and the thunder of our quite sobs nearby.
We will feel the emptiness that can not be filled,
and cry until the dark makes us forget.
