For I am Just a Man

For I am the man
who was told I could be anything
I wanted to be.

To have any woman I desired,
with a glance,
a smile,
to create the lusty mystery.

I am the man who believes that beauty
is truly from deep within.
I am the man chosen for a quick romance.
To satisfy the rampant female desires of lust.

I am the man woman desire to have,
to fulfill their night long lust.
But only for a month or more,
then they leave for other quests.

I am the man that's talked about
for all my nights in bed,
for all the hours of ecstasy,
to fulfill an endless tirade of fear and dread.

I am rejected by my reputation,
talked about to and fro.
Never to meet a sincere woman,
Just users of the candle glow.

From my desire within,
To love and hold,
Something of beauty,
to search depths untold.

I am cursed by men,
desired by women.
But I am the one you rejected,
you mocked me so completely.

Why should I desire you
Because I can see deep within,
such daunting beauty,
deeply hidden within.

I beg to have you,
even just to hold,
for I would never ever leave you,
I could never be so cold.

Come walk beside me,
let us talk about our dreams.
Let us share this moon glow forever,
be not just deep within my dreams.

For I am of the true belief,
I was created to be just for you.
For upon this strange mystery of Life,
I believe in only you.
