Change

I found humor in change,
And when you're among busy people, you tend to become busy.
She stood in the wind, watching shadows fall
From treetops and dwelled on differences and minorities,
And she even cursed their fragile drawbacks
Compared to the long road ahead.

And part of me wanted to stand by her side,
And hold her hand. But I cannot see a clear path to follow
In her direction.
So I am observing and taking in the view from up here
Upon a treetop and admiring the others that have joined me,
As we look down upon her.
And I could not decide whether or not I was ahead of my time.
Feeling unwillingly betrayed,
Loss of self-control towards bitter actions,
Time for change.
