Banshee

When she screams with the banshees
I always wonder what she sees
What makes her despair so?
What is it she wont let go?
When will I ever know?

We have something we can share
We have something to compare
In her cry of sure despair
Her sorrow fills the open air
- Will she ever know I cared?

Does she really love the grief?
Will she ever have relief
From the unseen demon thief
That robs her of her precious sleep?
Will she forever always weep?
What must we do to give her peace?

I'm sure deep inside she wonders why
Of all the angels in the sky
It's her wings that never fly
And her soul that always cries
As she hears them tell the lies
- When will they be satisfied
With the pain, they cause my bride?
