Beginning

I had a name
in the universe,
a name spoken
before language,
before time.
I had a voice
that was a song,
an ancient offering
before music and rhyme.
I had a heart
that was formed before light
and a newborn breeze
flowed through my veins.
I was there in that moment
before a moment,
omniscient, infinite,
I was there,
I was there.
