Your Face

Heavenly beauty used for evil taunts me
haunts me like a ghost lingering in my mind from land to sea
were ever my feet carry me your face is what makes me dream my dream
your face is what makes me feel like a fiend it’s almost drug like sometimes it seems
your face glistens and gleams your face like no other and it will never change
every detail in-place it constantly stays the same
your face burns my heart like the phoenix till I am as Lucifer engulfed in flames
it almost seems strange lovely even in a rage your face is exotic
your face sometimes toxic I felt a pulse in my chest when I thought I lost it
I thought I knew what love was and almost bought it when I realized it couldn’t be purchased
your face put me in a surplus your face made me feel made me heal
your face could have cause the battle of Troy your face so calm and so coy
I will forge but I’ll never forget your face
