Rain Date

I'm sure I've met you, ten times a hundred times before, can't seem to
bring back the last. It seems I know you from some other place I'm sure,
can't seem to place you in my past.

Can't put the thought of you to sleep, these waters run too deep. Can't
put the thought of you away, can't leave your face behind...until you're
mine...

Please spell out your name that might help me to recall the last time I
wrote it down. There's something in the way you looked at me just then. I
think I...I'm lost again.

Can't put the thought of you too deep, these waters make me sleep. Can't
put the thought of you away, can't leave your face behind...until you're
mine...

I'm sure I've met you, just never while you wore those clothes (there are
answers that no one knows). These are the last words which came to mind
before you left, what can I say my heart is deaf...

Can't put the thought of you too deep, these waters make me sleep. Can't
put the thought of you away, can't leave your face behind...until you're
mine...
