what do I know about
how she felt
about having life sucked from my stomach
and him not understanding that he needed to be there
it meant enough to him to take her to have their life removed
but I guess he didn’t understand that along with their life they
took a small part of her too
he didn’t see that the repercussions would resonate beyond the
operation
that he needed to be there to provide comfort and consolation
instead he quickly moved on, as if minor described what had happened
going about as before and hanging out with his friends
what could I know about what she thinks when she wakes
or about the dreams in her being when she seeks rest in sleep
from my body, in life, new life cannot spring forth
so while he was the seed
she was both the sun and the earth
