Strength

There are days when we feel so weak,
Ready to give up on the important things that we seek.
Feeling whipped and exhausted at the end of each day,
We endlessly search for strength to help us on our way.
Look to your true friends for a strong shoulder,
Do not let your worries grow any older.
True friends do not judge, they only understand,
Lean on them and let them give you a hand.
Love comes in many different shapes and forms,
It is there on sunny days and nights filled with storms.
Grasp it with both hands, hold it close to your heart,
Soon you shall find the strength for a fresh new start.
With a warm hug and a bright smile,
A message of thanks shall go out to those who
have gone that extra mile.
Never take them for granted,
This is a very "special" love that they have planted.
Nurture this newly found strength and never let it go,
Live life to its fullest and forever let your heart glow.

*This poem is dedicated to my True Friends who have lent me a strong shoulder to lean on. They have helped me find the strength to face each and every day with a fresh new start. Not once have I been judged, only understood. Thank you for that "special" love that you have given me.
