Reaching
for Something When There is Nothing
I.
Death is
painful,
But life is more.
As the reality roaches infest to cause more sores.
Grasping are we,
To the facts of bleak reality.
Cry as we may,
It wraps around us everyday.
Choking our last bit of strength away.
II.
Ending one
thing
Will always begin another.
As life is death,
And death is life,
In this world of spite.
Block by block I built a wall
Piece by piece I must make it fall.
I climb up the wall all the time,
Only to fall as I try.
Back to the ground I go.
Climbing back up the wall so ever slow.
Looking for the top's faint glow.
When I reach it then I will know.
III.
Close your eyes
and
Open your mind,
To seek what is divine.
Time is at waste,
But to be with you is the case.
Together we will leave this awful place.
In a swift chance of fate,
Come with me before it is to late.
In a world that treats us wrong,
To feel the simplicity of life is always long.
Claws of tragedy grab and crush.
We must not give into it's distrust.
Strength is what we need
Only together will it be...
