Behind Locked Doors

Woke by your touch to see only darkness
Darkness that told me it was only a dream.
A dream of the two of us I know will never come true.

You have come to a crossroad
Either open the door, or keep it locked.
You know who much I love you
Still you choose to keep it locked.
You choose to keep what we have in the darkness
Where only you know where the key lies.

Will what we have always be behind these doors?
Or will you open them, these doors to our future?

Let people know who I am in your life,
Please don't keep me in here forever.
