If I Should Ever Lose You

If I Should Ever Lose You
My biggest fear in life
Is not losing you to another woman -
But to HIM!
Another woman, I'd claw her eyes out,
Pull her hair bald-headed,
Fight to win you back again.
But to HIM, I'd lose the first round,
And no matter how much I fussed or fretted,
Cried or threatened -
HE'D end-up heads-up every time.
LORD, if I should ever lose you,
I can only pray it's to another woman!
