You comfort me with open arms,
you keep us safe from life's cruel harms.
You've been here through all the years,
your gentle touch has dried our tears.
Your positive outlook brings us peace of mind,
you have a sensitive heart and are always kind.
When we felt we weren't good enough,
you came and saved us, made us tough.
You were always here to understand,
to lift our faith and hold our hands.
You lead us through the good and bad,
and cheer us up when we are sad.
