Never the Same

A moment always never quite described.
Beyond the words of man does this moment rise.
An exchange of the most exquisite and Sublime,
I enlarged and swept away past time.

A sheet of white, to make the day seem dark,
Moves across the vision of closed eyes.
Transfixed in trance was I upon this Light,
A fluttering it came on wings of night.

As we began a beautiful exchange.
I poured my tears upon the window pane.
To empty back to you this Love that came,
Nothing thus received has been the same.

I gave and gave my tears this blissful day,
When the hour was just noon I’d hid away.
Was then you flowed upon my heart, a presence came,
I cried and gave it back in sweet exchange.

You pulled the tears of me down on my face.
You held me in your arms in sweet embrace.
This day at just past noon I’d hid away.
Now again my days, shall never be the same.
