Casuarinas
Sing Song
The casuarinas needles
swish and sing
their chorus
to the wind
echoing the continuous
motion of the ocean
so many miles away
the casuarinas needles
whispering reminder
brings to the surface of my mind
joy and comfort
at being
connected to all of this
and
shedding solitude
each sound
every leaf
all feelings
mirror the wider one
look clearly beyond the reflection
